For Vietnam Veteran Skip Merrick, the display is more than just names on a wall, it's friends, it's brothers, it's sisters. "It's an honor for us guys who did come home to protect the name, to protect the wall and say hello to comrades who didn't come home," explains Merrick who served aboard the USS Enterprise in Vietnam in 1969. We organize two school events: the Festival of Trees and the Talent Competition. The Festival of Trees is an event when every school club can choose to donate and decorate a tree that we set up. All of the money raised goes to an organization of our choice. For the last 4 years, we have donated to Street Grace, which benefits the fight against human trafficking, especially in the Metro Atlanta area.

Vetshouse Incorporated consists of two duplexes that commune homeless veterans for a twelve month span in order to increase job placement and encourage professional development. Majority of the money used to fund Vetshouse comes from donations and fundraising events. The purpose of Helping Our Patriots (H.O.P.) was to collect monetary donations and/or personal items and toiletries from Norfolk State University students as well as the surrounding community in order to support homeless veterans in the Hampton Roads area through Vetshouse Incorporated in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

I soon made my way to the labor and delivery floor where everyday a miracle happened. My duties while volunteering included assisting the nurses during hearing checks, changing diapers, and rocking crying infants in special care.
As the founder, I was involved in recruiting prospective members, serving as a liaison between the players, coaches, and parents, and most
