Certain Things Simply Can’t Be Changed

Have you ever been discriminated over something that you can’t change? Discrimination has always been present in our everyday lives. People get bullied and discriminated everywhere they go for simple silly things like having a disability, sickness, or being from a certain race and looking a certain way. Nobody escapes a mean stare or an offensive comment maybe even a mean laugh from another imperfect human being. However, none of us get to choose what race we are,what skin color we have, or who we are. We also don’t get to choose if we have a disease or disability. People shouldn’t be able to have the power to hurt us over things that we can’t change about ourselves.

During the 1900’s many people were persecuted in Germany for being different. This ghastly time period is called the Holocaust. During this era many groups of people including Jews were seen as inferior races and groups. They were persecuted and they kicked out of their homes by Nazis. They were taken to concentration camps and were starved as well as abused. This act was called the “Solution” to the problem of having inferior races. They wanted to get rid of …show more content…

Some died from starvation, punishment, and various were executed. At the end of the Holocaust he had managed to murder more than 10 million innocent human beings. So many innocent people were killed off by an imperfect human being who somehow was able to obtain an excessive amount of power. When it the Holocaust was over, the remaining amount of people transferred themselves to Displaced Persons camps where they lived for a short time. People tried to find the rest if their families only to realize that they had all died. Eventually, they all decided to migrate and escape the danger that still haunted them.
