Anxiety can improve someone`s life. This may sound untrue to those people who believe that anxiety is the root cause of most of the bad habit in the world like drug and substance use. People fail to realize that anxiety gives someone courage to overcome the obstacles of life. Additionally, it gives someone an opportunity to explore the world in a better way and this can be the doorway to their destiny. Most of the successful people in the world are known to have had anxiety at one point in their lives. Normally anxiety affects someone when someone has embarked on doing something new. For example, it’s normal for an upcoming musician to get anxious on his very first day on stage. In this case, there are those butterflies in the stomach since it’s a first time experience. He attributes his success to anxiety. The author explains how he would get frightened as he conducted interviews to some famous people in the world like Joan Rivers. He discusses the experience of how he would literally shake. However, that did not make him quit his job. Anxiety offered him a platform to do what he feared several times. With time, James realized that he was no longer anxious as he conducted his interviews.
