The age of Imperialism was during the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The United States pursued an aggressive policy for expanding its economic and political influence around the world. The Country that got most affected by this era was India. India's whole culture has changed since the age of imperialism. The British destroyed the whole native culture and replaced it with their own. During the Sepoy rebellion the British would use animal fat for the grease for guns and in India, Hindus believe that cows are sacred and Muslims don't eat pigs. But some of the things that changed about their culture was for the better, like they would let widows remarry which helped a lot because window suicide was a major problem back then.
