The age of Imperialism was during the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The United States pursued an aggressive policy for expanding its economic and political influence around the world. The Country that got most affected by this era was India. India's whole culture has changed since the age of imperialism. The British destroyed the whole native culture and replaced it with their own. During the Sepoy rebellion the British would use animal fat for the grease for guns and in India, Hindus believe that cows are sacred and Muslims don't eat pigs. Britain left India quickly in about 7 months which led to 14 million Hindus and Muslims moving across the border, 1 million people died, terrible violence, lead to a major security risk.
