Changez and the Stranger finish the delicious meal Changez ordered and sit back in their seats. A bulge appears under the coat of the Stranger and Changez notices this. When he asks about this from the Stranger he becomes a bit disturbed and Changez quickly changes the topic by telling him about the time when he was sent to do another task where he came to know of Juan-Bautista, chief of the publishing company, who disliked Underwood Samson. Changez tells him how he could not focus on the task because of all the things that had been happening to him at that time, with Erica not being well and ignoring him and how there might be war soon between Pakistan and India. The Stranger tells Changez that someone was following them but Changez calms him down, but the Stranger looks rather suspicious and got busy on using his phone, nonetheless, Changez continues his story. After sometime Changez started working as a lecturer in a university where he taught students about the disengagement of Pakistan from America, which later came to know as anti-America. On a special event when an American ambassador came to Pakistan, many people surrounded the building where he was, showing the hatred they felt for America. Soon the campus where Changez worked was visited by the international television in which he stated that some facts, emphasizing precisely about America.
