The last time I saw Charlie was a long time ago. It was when we attended a country club dance. He was so handsome that evening, catering to my every whim. We danced all night to the music of the time. The waltz was our favorite. Gliding across the floor arm in arm, we were as one. His eyes met mine in the soft light, dazzling me with his charm. Later as we dined in candlelight with wine, I realized, that there had never been a more perfect night. I was so enchanted with him that I could hardly keep my feelings in check. I guess he felt the same when at last he took my hand and got on one knee to ask that magical question. "Marry me please, my sweet love?" he said. To which I responded with a quick, "Yes,oh yes!" After a few passionate kisses we deceided to toast each other with bubbly champagne! The delightful drink tickled my nose and brought me to the brink of giggles.
