The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) was introduced into England and Wales to try and provide a standard framework for childrenâ€TMs care, learning and development. It followed on from the government report Every Child Matters (ECM) which described how all children should achieve outcomes; • Staying safe • Being healthy • Enjoying and achieving • Making a positive contribution • Achieving economic well-being The government provides funding for every child aged 3 and 4 to receive 15 hours a week Early Years education (38 weeks a year). This follows the EYFS and it enables children from all social backgrounds to have the same opportunity to receive education and therefore more easily achieve the outcomes above.
The Death of Romeo and Juliet The foolishness of Romeo and Juliet can almost be tasted in the classic love story “Romeo and Juliet.” It is obvious that foolishness and foolish decisions is at fault for the death of Romeo and Juliet because they were foolish enough that they kissed before they even got to know each other and their names and they wouldn’t stop meeting even though they knew Romeo could get killed for seeing Juliet and they knew they were moving too fast. They also chose to get married without their parents permission and without them knowing which led them to saying they were going to kill themselves multiple times which is quite childish and foolish.
Janet acknowledges the children of Head Start are in difficult situations in which they are poor or they are referrals from child protective services. The positive short term effects that Head Start offers is a lasting influence on the child’s future. The fact in which Head Start is still operating after 50 years is an indicator of an evolving quality preschool.
