Christianity and traditional African religion have very similar aspects in each other religion but they also have a lot of differences to each other. They both have gods that they look up too but those same gods are different in many ways, each religion have practices that can resemble each other and also have differences between each other, and lastly how each religion view evil. In both religions, they view their god as an almighty and creator of human and animals and all other things. They also have the ideology that their god is everywhere. Christianity and traditional African religion have the thought of having a distant god because of the bad action of humans. For example, when god banished Adam and Eve from the garden of Eden because Adam and Eve disobeyed God. This is the basics of how Christianity god and traditional African religion god are the same. The differences between a Christian god and a traditional god is that Christians have one god but traditional African religion has more than god. Some practices that both Christianity and traditional African religion is the sacrifices, the practices of the sacrifice is different but trying to reach their god is not. For example, the sacrifice of fasting for Christians but for traditional African religion would be the sacrifice of an animal. Both religions have the practice of prayers where Christians pray to god or through Jesus to get to god. While traditional African religion has prayers to reach to their god also.
