In the story Noah count and the Arkansas ark by Gary Blackwood, the author demonstrates how the family in the text are poorly educated and how the boy thinks of his family. The boy in the story learned the lesson that even though his family members aren’t educated the way he is, doesn’t mean they aren’t smart. The boy’s views of his family change as the story develops. When the story begins, the boy thinks that his family isn’t very scientific. In the middle of the story, he Is embarrassed by them.
On February 26, 1972 the Buffalo creek community was destroyed by a terrible flood. The flood caused many tears, pain and death. In the blink of an eye, people’s lives completely changed; lives were lost, houses were gone and families were destroyed. Santa and his elves are having a super hard time trying to make all the presents this year because they realize how hard it is to make things like phones and all this electronic stuff that people are asking for this year. His elves are having a hard time making everything because the process takes time and that's something they don't have. Santa’s elves are having a hard time staying normal because the process is creating a lot of toxic waste and that's getting into the bodies of the elves. Some of the elves are sick and Santa needs more than he has. Even the reindeer are starting to turn wild and whenever an elf goes outside and freezes to death, the reindeer would probably eat the fallen elf.
I do not like to read a book but I like to read texts or Facebook posts. I didn't like to read a large and big books. I like to read a short and easy story book.
My favorite author was the writer for Goosebumps when I was 4 years old and we read many books from the Goosebumps series. I also developed an interest in chapter books. I was in the second grade when my mom and dad would read to me these books. We read together the Hobbit, Phantom Tollbooth, and Percy Jackson series. I also read some current events on my own in school.
Today the books that always manage to get my attention are usually the books based on true events. My earliest memory of being read to isn’t necessarily being read to by my parents but being read to by teachers. Both my parents were always working, so they never had time to read to me. I didn’t have any older siblings to help me so when I started school, it was the first time I was exposed to reading.
The most recent flood occur in Kuching, Sarawak where heavy rainfall caused some areas around Kuching to be inundated by flood waters and most roads became congested as they were impassable to traffic. The heavy downpour was still continuing around Kuching and several stalled vehicles were left on the flooded roads. Several key places were flooded including the Sarawak General Hospital, Sarawak Contingent Police Headquarters at Jalan Badaruddin, Padungan fire and rescue station, Faculty of Medicine at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Universiti Teknologi Mara Samarahan campus, and areas around Padang Merdeka. Books I think are powerful. Books contain so much more than just the story it 's a mindset, and by reading different books, I feel we can be alike in some ways but completely different from others. We will always have likes and dislikes, but once we start to read a book I think we can go in with an open mind set and when we finish, or if we don 't we have are own opinion. A different mindset from everybody else, and that 's extraordinary. That should say something to people and I don’t understand how some people don’t see
