Personal Response (including details) The characters I learned about when I read this novel includes: Cinder: the protagonist in the book and is a young female cyborg mechanic. Queen Levana: the antagonist and is from the Luna. Her people are immune to a the letumosis disease or the blue plague. Peony: the step-sister of Cinder and her friend. She later dies of the disease. Pearl: the sister of Peony and the other step-sister to Cinder. Iko: Cinder's android friend and she sometimes forgets that she isn't human, but she can't do

The purpose of this poem was to show kids that it is OK to use your imagination and even that they should use it more often. He tried to show kids that your imagination has no limit but knowledge does so you should try to explore your imagination to see what is inside. He tried to show children that nothing is holding you back not even the end of the sidewalk and you should always pursue discovery. I think that the meaning of this poem is to show the imagination of mainly children because of the line, "for the children they know where the sidewalk ends" (Silverstein 1) . Discovery and imagination is a main theme of the poem, as it explains how they walk where the chalk-white away from the place where the road winds and bends meaning they are escaping the reality of modern society with buildings and roads, to an area of pure imagination. As explained in the poem it is told as "The place where the sun burns crimson bright" (Silverstein 1). Overall the poem's meaning is that sometimes children and even adults should explore their imagination once and awhile, maybe even discover a little bit more about there
