Cite specific examples of why you make an ideal candidate for this program? An ideal candidate for me is someone who possesses character traits as an individual. I believe that the two most important character traits are Initiative and perseverance. Not only will these traits help you become successful inside and outside of this program, install the importance of maintaining phenomenal grades, but they are also the traits you need to succeed. An initiative is one of the many first steps to success. Initiative means the power or opportunity to do something before others do: the energy and desire that is needed to do something: a plan or program that is intended to solve a problem. For example, many of my middle school core teachers are very impressed that I have a lot of prior knowledge to each and every lesson or course. I think the main reason for this is because I take the initiative to not only understand what I learn in class, but I strive to learn more about it. Perseverance to me means that I will keep trying, it is also needed so you don't give up, despite having problems. In kindergarten, I was once told that I couldn't make a "perfectly symmetrical" heart, it became frustrating for not only me, but for my mom and grandma; time after time continuously tracing hearts, and then perfecting my own on pieces on scrap paper. Sometimes it came out good and sometimes it came out "eh...it can be better." But instead of just giving up, I was determined to finish the task, and I was able to achieve finally getting that "perfectly symmetrical" heart.
