It is the right of person to be free from government s investigations when inside their home compounds and its surrounding which is termed as the curtilage.
For the DUI check points, Search warrant isrequiring end, according to the supreme court the police officer needs a warrant if they want to have a blood test of the motorists who are suspected to be driving under the influence of alcohol. But there is no warrant needed when the officers want to carry out breath test for the same motorists.
Profiling is the determination of whether an individual may involve himself in illegal activities based on their characteristics .it involves the use of personal characteristics or the pertains of once behavior to have a general opinion about that person(Generation Progress, 2018) .A good number of people have been reported to be unfairly singled out by the police on the basis of their races , the Number of those who have been reported to have undergone trough this are seen to be equal to the entire population of Canada .The police are reported to targeted the minorities. I therefore can lead to arrest of innocent people or even being killed by mob justice just because of the profile that one has been branded to have Others will also be seen to be very innocent just because of their profile but inwardly they are the most dangerous individuals who are supposed to be jailed. Therefore, racial profiling should not be a basis of determining the guiltiness pf an individual .and the law should be excelsis to everybody irrespective of their profile within the society.
Yes, there are potentialities of violating our civil liberties or civil rights with regards to these profiling, Since the group of people who have been discriminated, or considered to be bad will be frustrated when it comes to exercising the laws they will be the once who will always be considered to be the criminals even if they are not.
I think the civil rights and the Civil liberties are very essential and both the individuals and the government should be in a position of protecting these rights and liberties. Citizens should be taken care of equally irrespective of their gender, religion, or even
