I agree with the famous thinker John Locke, who was the “father” of classical liberalism and his revolutionary theories regarding the natural rights of man and social contracts. Locke believed that individuals were blank slate which would learn both good and evil from their surroundings. Additionally, He believed that all people possess the fundamental natural rights to life, liberty and property. Furthermore, he believed that the main job of the government was to protect these natural rights. Moreover, Locke also believed that individuals had the ability to reason and use logic to make decisions for themselves, instead of always listening to the Catholic church and the state.
