Bold, vigorous, determined, yet charming, Queen Cleopatra of Egypt were all of these and more.
Cleopatra was a well loved person by many, and had multiple talents. She had many lovers throughout her life as well; along with plentiful battles and disputes. Queen Cleopatra had an interesting childhood and many people that influenced her later life. Cleopatras life involved growing up, her many lovers, and war.
Cleopatra was a heroic leader but had many priorities that had gotten her there.

In spite of many thinking Cleopatra was a ruthless or indecent ruler; she was actually very compassionate and courageous towards her family as well as the many people surrounding her.
According to Lassieur Cleopatra was not only well educated but also talented; she was “fluent in 9 different languages, a mathematician, and a businesswoman”(79).
Although there are many different personalities thought about Cleopatra she was a “highly intelligent women and an astute politician she also brought prosperity and peace to a country that was bankrupt and split by civil war.
Cleopatra had a loving family and had grown up rather well for her time.

Not known for sure but, “Mark Antony and Cleopatra had 3 children; two sons and one daughter”(“Biography”1).
In 34 BC there was a celebration known as “the ‘Donations of Alexandria’ when Antony awarded each of his children with Cleopatra land.”(History.com staff 4)

Cleopatra had a rather odd relationship with her brother, Ptolemy XIII.
As reported by Lassieur in“49 BC Cleopatra had to fight for the throne with her brother when he got her into exile”(78).
What now we think is odd, back then it was reported as, “in keeping with Egyptian tradition; Cleopatra was married to her 10 year old brother, Ptolemy XIII”(“Biography”1).
What might have been rather bizarre relationships with family members now a days; that was the norm for people in Egypt back then.
