The Corps of Discovery was a group of the United States' army that was specifically opted for exploration. The leaders of this branch consisted of Meriwether Lewis and William Clark. Thomas Jefferson started this association with aim to receive knowledge of the newly purchased Louisiana Purchase and establish relationships with the Native Americans of the region. The president also wanted to start stacking U.S presence in the Northwest and Oregon territory. The Zapotecs: The Cloud People
The Zapotecs were known as the “Cloud People” and were settled in the southern highlands of central Mesoamerica, in the valley of Oaxaca. They constructed their first capitol, Monte Alban around 500 BCE and traded with numerous cultures like the Olmec, Teotihuacan, and Maya civilizations. The Zapotecs had a large variety of agriculture, and this allowed them to trade with the Olmec civilization, and eventually build an impressive capital site at Monte Alban. The Zapotecs were divided into three separate groups; the Valley Zapotec, Sierra Zapotec, and Southern Zapotec. Close to the end of the Preclassic period, Zapotec cities showed a high level of innovation in architecture.

Abandonment, the earliest form of trauma that a child can be presented to. A trauma that will truly never escape the victims mind, leading them to have a dark and corrupt view of the world. A society who lacks motherhood or some sort of parental upbringing, lacks the ability to develop love and compassion. Those who grow up having been accustomed to the loss of loved ones, typically face its effects throughout their life. The damage caused is much like a scar that will forever be embedded in everything they do or feel.

Abortion is an important issue throughout many places and comes in various types and variations. The different types of abortion includes mainly, miscarriages, stillbirths, or an elective abortion. “As many as 15 percent of all pregnancies are likely to result in a miscarriage, and stillbirths are thought to occur in nearly one in two hundred pregnancies. ("Abortion.") There needs to be changes made to the abortion process and possibly more people involved in the decision making and should not be allowed under most circumstances.
