On August 19,1883 in Saumur, France one of the most iconic Woman was born named Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel. During the 1920’s Chanel started to change society with her eccentric style and mindset and because of this she became the most influential fashion designer ever in the history of fashion. As one of the most iconic women for many people around the world during the 1900’s she changed the fashion world with her innovative designs that worked for women of her time, and women of the future. As a pioneer of the fashion industry, Coco Chanel introduced fashion world’s first hand-free bag, which allowed women to move their hands freely with the help of a chain strap around the shoulder. To achieve her dream as a actress she stared by singing and dancing in bars.Her name Coco Chanel came from the song “Coco”,which she use to sing in the bar. After failing numerous times of being an actress she continued to work in the bar until she meet Etirnne Balsan. At the age of twenty-two she agreed to moved in with him as and unmarried as a result many people viewed her as a mistress. She had a long term relationship with him for 2 years. Despite the fact that she was a bar singer and known as a mistress she did not let this shatter her dreams.After 2 or 3 years she meet another man named Arthur Capel, who helped her get closer to becoming the next fashion guru. She opened her first store in 1910 in Paris’s Rue Cambon. In 1920 her career elevated as she was introducing the world many of her concepts, but before her success Chanel initiated her shop by selling hats for women. Her first success came from her dress, the dress was made from an old jersey and the dress had really nice fitting which distinguished it from other dress, thus making it more attractive. The dress was an instant among between women at the time. After the success of her dress her career was en route towards being one the most iconic women and forever changing the landscape of the fashion world.
