I think that Colin Kaepernick was wrong to not stand for the national anthem. I understand where he is coming from about African Americans being sometimes oppressed, but I believe it was extremely disrespectful to the men and women who defend our country. He also has made kneeling for the anthem a movement and many more athletes are doing it. Drew Brees is correct when saying that Kaepernick has insulted a "sacred" flag. I believe there is a time and a place where you can express your feelings, however during the national anthem before a game is not the right time nor place to do so.
