The Vision in Joe Turner’s Come and Gone In August Wilson’s play Joe Turner ’s Come and Gone there was a character named Herald Loomis. At the end of Act 1 that character had a vision. My interpretation of the vision is that it was a depiction of the freeing of slaves and their fight for normal lives.

From an early age I have always had an interest in the legal system, as a child of divorcees the legal system has always had an impact on my life. I have always dreamed about being a family lawyer and have hoped that through hard work and dedication I could make my dream a reality; enter law school, successfully complete the bar exam and utilize my knowledge of the law to help those who may otherwise be left in the cold by the legal system. As I have grown older I have a new understanding of the realities of just how difficult it will be to make my dreams a reality. When writing this application, I had difficulty figuring out what I can say that will set me apart from other candidates. I almost feel as though everything that I will say has been said before and there are most likely some situations that sound more sympathetic than my own.

I have been studying mathematics and computer science in Northern Virginia Community College for the last two years. Cheerleading is more than an attitude sport or flirts in skirt. Cheerleading is better than dance for multiple reasons. Cheerleaders have to memorize dance routines, put up other girls in a stunt, and communicate without talking. People argue that cheer isn’t hard or that it 's not a sport. Some would even say that dance is harder and more of a sport then cheer but if you think about it cheerleaders have to have trust in each other, be loud, positive and encouraging.

I have always had a burning passion for dance since I was a young girl. My first time on a stage, I was immediately hooked. The overpowering feeling of a crowd of people watching me as I do what I love, is a feeling I have always admired. Dance has developed my character and personality in many different ways. I have been taught responsibility, discipline, integrity and much more.
It 's the where you have to deal and cope with the most changes in your life. Everything is changing both physically and emotionally and yet you are thrust in to the most intense situations of your young life, discovering heartbreak, anxiety, low self-esteem and peer pressure along the way. We all have our tough times. Everyone goes through something, but being a teenager, that’s when you feel everything at once. As a teenager, will you give up and end this hardship?
