“Forever Thankful” Being Thankful can sometimes be difficult for certain people. Maybe they don’t have it as easy as some of us do. However, I’m sure someday they will be thankful for their struggles in life or childhood because it gave or will give them the opportunity to become the best people they can be able to live life to the fullest. If you are one of those people that maybe don’t have it as easy as some of us do than be thankful for what you do have and treasure it. Life will get better, but that’s only if you make it that way. “ You shape life, Life doesn’t shape you.” I have three things that I am thankful for my parents, my grandparents, and the sun. The very top thing on my list for what I am thankful for is my parents. They are on the top of my list because they love me to death and show it every single day. Second, they provide me with food on the table and snacks in the pantry. Another reason why I am thankful for them is because they set rules and boundaries for me. An example of this happened a few weeks ago, I didn't do so hot on one of my bigger assignments and my parents told me to get my grade up in that class or I was grounded. Grandparents are one of the best things in the world. They spoil you with gifts on the holidays, and sometimes they get you gifts on Christmas you didn’t even know you wanted. For example one Christmas morning my grandma gave me this really beautiful necklace. I didn’t even think of asking for any kind of jewelry that year, but I am glad she gave it to me. Another reason I am thankful for my grandparents is because they give unconditional love and compassion. They also give endless hugs, especially when you first get to their house for a visit.
