Colonel Ed Fletcher Research Paper
Ed Charles was number 5 on the Miracle Mets from 1967 to 1969. Ed ended his career in the 1969 season and left it with a bang. Ed died at 84 on March 15th, 2018. Ed Charles was the most vital player for the Mets during the 1969 season. Ed Charles was a vital player for at least three reasons.
Alton Coleman. Alton Coleman (November 6, 1955 – April 26, 2002) was an American serial killer who operated in the Midwest United States during the summer of 1984. He was born in Waukegan, Illinois and had a troubled childhood, marked by physical and sexual abuse. Coleman began his killing spree on May 29, 1984, when he murdered a nine-year-old girl in his hometown of Waukegan.
1. There are many accusations of who was responsible for the smallpox outbreak in Fort Pitt, during the summer 1763. Many of the Native Americans accused the British soldiers of being responsible for the outbreak. There is suspension that Jeffery Amherst, the British commander in chief, knew of smallpox infected blankets being given to Natives by the end of June. William Trent is also credited with writing an account of the event in his diary.
To start, Tom Osborne was born on February 23, 1937 in Nebraska. He went to high school at Hastings, and many considered Osborne to be a star player in sports. He was a great football and basketball player. He also won the state discus throw in track (Tom Osborne). The Omaha World Herald named Tom Osborne the Nebraska High School ‘Athlete of The Year’.
Richard Bassett was a significant Figure of the Constitutional Convention. Richard was in the convention at the age of 42 with the state of Delaware. Although Mr. Bassett was not apart of the committee assignments he did partake in New government such as, Attending the Delaware ratification convention, supported the ratification of the Constitution, served as a Senator from Delaware in the years of, 1789 through 1793 and Serving as the Midnight Judge appointee by President Adams. Prior Political experience Bassett was involved in includes, Lower House of Delaware State Legislature 1785, The Upper House of Delaware State Legislature 1776 and 1770-1780 and 1783-1785, also the Delaware State convention in 1776 with lastly being apart of the Annapolis Convention in 1786 as a Delegate. Richard Bassett didn 't know at a young age that soon when he was older he would be a significant Figure Of the Constitutional Convention.
Chris McCandless: Spiritual Revolutionary of the Primordial World Chris McCandless, a young, nonconformist man, died in the Alaskan wilderness trying to live off the land there. Some laud McCandless for his transcendentalist behavior and unique, nonconformist beliefs; others call McCandless a reckless fool whose impulsive actions ended up costing his life. Chris McCandless was ultimately a modern day transcendentalist because he believed that nature was purer than society, a common transcendentalist belief. An inscription McCandless engraved in Fairbanks bus 142 indicatesthat he thought of society as poisonous, thus making nature purer than society in McCandless’s mind. Both sources provided basic details about former State Representative Raymond W. Ewell. However, I found the first source, History Makers to be undoubtedly creditable. This source included an exclusive glimpse into the life of the senator. The History Maker, website provides researchers with pertinent facts about Mr. Ewell life. Also, the information provided seem to have been solicited directly from Representative Ewell in the form of a one on one interview.

Asa Philip Randolph was born April 15, 1889 in Crescent City, Florida. To James and Elizabeth Randolph, the father who was a Methodist minister. According to Biography.com, both were supporters of the equal rights for the African american population in the U.S (Biography.com Editors, "A. Philip Randolph"). In his later years he would attend Cookman institute, which was one of the only schools to offer higher education of the African American population. After that he would start the Brotherhood of Labor with his business partner Chandler Owen.
Eli Whitney had a huge influence on America. He invented the Cotton Gin and introduced interchangeable parts to people. His inventions greatly spead up the process for many things. He was born in Massachusetts in 1765 and he died in 1825. His dad was a farmer.
History helps us understand our past and detremine the future. It lets us know why our society is how it is today. How the world use to be compared to now, how lucky we are compared to way back when. The past causes the present, so the future. Hisotry is in every little thing you can think of.
Education Mississippi writer, Willie Weaks Morris was one of the best-known contemporary -authors. Born to Henry Rae and Marion Weaks on November 29, 1934 in Jackson, Mississippi. He and his parents moved to Yazoo City when he was only six years old. In high school, he was the editor of the school’s newspaper, Morris also played many sports including baseball, basketball, and football. In school, he had honorable grades, he even graduated as valedictorian.

Therapeutic art is used to assist people in understanding who they truly are and how they have grown from their past and any traumatizing experiences they may have experienced previously. Author, Laurie Halse Anderson explains the struggle of being the high school outcast through character Melinda Sordino. Anderson uses Melinda 's evolving tree artwork to symbolize past calamities in Melinda 's life, as well as how Melinda is growing as a character throughout her freshman year of high school. While Melinda is struggling most, she struggles with finishing her trees the way that she wants them to look.
The article that I chose to use from Science and Children magazine is all about STEM; infused in science teaching. The title of the article is: Methods and strategies: Using Argument Based Inquiry Strategies for STEM Infused Science Teaching. It is important to incorporate STEM into the classroom, and allow all children to experiment, discover, and apply STEM to become better learners. The following paragraphs will talk about what the article was about, and how I could apply it into my classroom/ future classroom.
