In previous marketing campaigns done by Comcast, the company has made advertising a major priority for their corporation. Considering the size of the company as well as its revenue and renown, it is recommended that an advertising campaign would be most effective for this marketing plan. The statistics provided by “Media Radar” regarding Comcast’s advertising history show a total of over $100 million spent on advertising as a whole in the year 2022. The types of advertising categories they have invested in have been primarily digital advertisements, print advertisements, and advertisements of national TV. The categories of focus within the various advertisement campaigns show a steadily increasing trend towards online based media outlets being used to market products or services which, from other companies, is also applicable to Comcast. In addition to Comcast’s historical behavior when performing an advertising campaign, they also have various prior media properties that they have advertised on. Due to comparative advantage, it would be best for Comcast to employ a couple methods to this decision as the company already has a general sales team. Despite this, another firm which specializes in creating advertisements for larger companies would be able to create more effective promotional material for Comcast. It would be best if the sales team started on the development of advertisements which can be revised and refined by a smaller advertising firm that is hired by Comcast. While these revisions happen, the in-house sales team can get started on the process of bringing the campaign to the market for consumer
