Do you like suspenseful, action packed books? If you throw a secret intelligence agency then I have a good one for you. This marvelous novel is called The Killing by Robert Muchamore. The Killing is unique because it offers consistent action and plot twists which are not common in other action books that I have read. C.H.E.R.U.B. is off-branch of MI5, but there 's one catch all of the agents are kids under eighteen. Agents deal with a whole plethora of things it could be anything from terrorists to thieves. This novel is interesting to me because it is in England and is in a fairly recent time period. This book takes place in a city called Palm Hill in the U.K. Palm Hill is known for riots as expressed on page ninety-nine, “Palm Hill is still notorious for riots.” …show more content…

I think that the novel takes place in a unique place and time. There 's a whole plethora of important characters my personal favorite being James Adams. James is thirteen and very short tempered in the beginning of the book James beats up a little kid and bottom line is that he gets dumped by his girlfriend. Dave Moss James partner is sixteen or seventeen and is a ladies man and that is what he is known for. People generally really like dave and think he is a good guy. Leon Tarasov is who these two are up against Leon owns a dealership of stolen cars and is middle aged and very cautious. Mike Patel is a cop that abuses his power that later on is proved to have faked a suicide of a young boy that he killed, he was also working with Leon. Overall I think that their are some very unique characters in this book. Henceforth their are many unique and interesting parts to this great
