There are two common APA style papers and they are literature reviews and the experimental reports. Each of the papers has their own particular way to how the paper is formatted and written. The literature review is the most ordinary paper written. It is a summary of what the scientific literature says about your explicit theme. The literature review contains a title page, introduction, and list of references. In some cases, an abstract will come before the introduction as discussed prior. The length of the paper and the number of references you are supposed to have are always going to be different. An experimental report is more on the social science side. Within an experimental report, the writer will have to design and conduct his or her own experimental research. The arrangement of the paper follows the scientific method. First, the introduction will consist of, "Why the topic is important" and "What is the problem". The first line will be centered and will say, "Abstract". It will not be bolded or italicized. The abstract is a summary of the research the author has conducted. It states the most important parts of the paper. An abstract must include your research topic, research questions, participants, methods, results, data analysis, and conclusions. It ought to be only a double-spaced paragraph and can only be between 150 and 250 words. For other researchers to find previous work in the database, type Keywords at the end of the abstract. Keywords should be italicized and indented like a new paragraph. The abstract can be seen as the most important part of the paper because the abstract is the first thing people read in a paper.
