Fast food places have never really been the epitome of fine dining, however, Chick-Fil-A has been proving themselves to be number one in the fast-food business. Founded in 1967 by Samuel Truett Cathy, Chick-Fil-A has always had a vision of having quality food with quality service. Chick-Fil-A specializes in making and reinventing chicken and chicken sandwiches that are actually made with passion and not just a grill. People have raved about their friendly employees and wonderful experiences with them that put them the best in the restaurant business. So they have been specializing in the art of making a chicken sandwich since the very beginning of its existence. It is made with no preservatives, additives, or filters, just 100 percent breast meat. Also, anytime one eats anything from there, they should know that whatever they are eating was made that day from scratch. It is all hand breaded in every Chick-Fil-A restaurant all across America. This differentiates Chick-Fil-A from competing fast-food places because other restaurants will have frozen meats and preservatives stored in a freezer for days or even weeks. Chick-Fil-A also strives for their significant taste in their chicken sandwich unlike other fast-food places, but what exactly gives it that grade A flavor? The words “my pleasure” and “have a wonderful day” mean a lot to Chick-Fil-A and the customer. The CEO, Dan Cathy, cherishes the training they implement on their employees to make them more polite. Business Insider reported that “Chick-Fil-A employees said ‘thank you’ in 95.2% of drive-thru encounters” (Taylor). And when the line gets too long for the drive-thru, Chick-Fil-A will send out their own drive-thru teams to take orders with a tablet from people. Rain or shine, those employees will be out there working hard for the customer whenever the drive-thru is too busy. Chick-Fil-A also provides their employees with major benefits such as paying them above minimum wage, giving all of their employees a break on Sunday, offering scholarships, retirement plans, and health insurance. USA Today has even ranked Chick-Fil-A as their top two choices for customer service out of all companies; this including big names like Apple, Amazon, and Kroger.
