Ancient Egypt is one of the very first recorded civilizations with a very distinct way of life. They have traditions that have been passed down and influenced other cultures around the world. The earliest records of Ancient Mesopotamia culture dates back to around 3100 BCE. Mesopotamia had four different empires that was included in it.
The modern American culture is fascinated by the Ancient Egyptians and their style of art. It is displayed in music videos, architecture, fashion, and so on. People love it. Part of what makes Egyptian culture so enticing is the works of art that archeologists have found over the years. Two examples of those works of art include Menkaure and His Wife and Akhenaten.
The Roman Empire was one of the most advanced cultures of its time. The grandeur of Rome has had abiding effects on the societies of the entire world. Evidence of the brilliance and creativity of the Romans can be found in many modern countries such as the remains of roads, walls, baths, basilicas, amphitheaters, and aqueducts. First, they had different social systems; the ancient Greek divided their social systems into five categories: slaves, freedmen, metics, citizens and women , and in the ancient Greek women were not given a position they were like to be less than slaves, but in the ancient Roman civilization they dived into four categories: freedmen, slaves, plebians and patricians, and women were considered citizen if they were not born into slavery, however they were not able to hold any position or vote. Second, The ancient Greek created and developed the three famous classical orders which is Doric, Ionic and Corinthian, On the other hand Ancient Roman took the classical order with making minor differences and created the arch and used it in their buildings.

The Greeks and Romans seem to be extremely influential on our modern civilization. Many Greek and Roman traditions and cultures play major roles in our civilization. These traditions and cultures are displayed throughout our government, education, art, architect, cultural activities, and many other things. I assert the most influential ideas the Greeks and Romans had are displayed in our government, art, and architecture. Their ideas have inspired over 25 centuries, growing and changing over time, and still remain in our modern civilization.
