There have been only two presidents throughout American History that have been impeached. These two presidents were William (Bill) Clinton and Andrew Johnson. Andrew Johnson was the vice president and shortly became the 17th president in 1865 after the assassination of Lincoln. Bill Clinton was elected the 42nd president in 1992, after being the governor of Arkansas. Both of these impeachments were different in several ways.
Clinton's life was highly different than Nixon’s, however, some of his political turmoil and successes was similar to Nixon’s. Bill Clinton was born William Jefferson Blythe to William Blythe and Virginia Blythe on August 19, 1946, in Hope, Arkansas; however, his dad died a few months before he was born. Later, when Bill was about four, his mother married Roger Clinton. Roger was a heavy alcoholic who often beat Bill's mother. Like Nixon he experienced a large amount of death and violence.
Unfortunately, many people have forgotten that history often repeats itself, and we should not, nay we cannot have a president who lies, and omits important information from the American public. How could we trust a wolf in sheep’s clothing when it really matters? How can we expect someone to give us what we need in times of crisis, when they won’t even give us the truth in times of concord? We can’t, and this is why we cannot have Hillary as president. When the wicked rule, the people mourn, and when the wicked give them further reason to mourn, the despondency of the people
This presidential debate brings up many perspectives and conflict in which candidate would make a better president. Simply said, this presidential race, is like no other. In the article “If Necessary, I’ll Vote Trump Over Hillary,” that was published in February 24, 2016 by Nicole Russel, does not represent a good overview of the both candidates due to her bias opinions The Federalist Article, lacks details of Trump, but explores in depth of Hillary. Russel explains how “Clinton Has a Terrible Track Record” by breaking down the issues she faced as the Secretary of state. Furthermore, Russel explains how Hillary is proven to be a liar, and a example such as her “illegal” use of a personal email was brought up.
As the president of United States of America it can be a little hard to make certain decisions. What the people want and what is for the best for them is very different. Yet this President is for. Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton were presidents of the United States, who may have done good or bad throughout their time serving in office. Both presidents will be compared to determine who brought the best for United States.
The election of 2016 was the 58th Presidential election in the United States. The two frontrunners for this election were the business man Donald J. Trump from New York for the Republican Party and the United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton also from New York for the Democratic Party. Both campaigns were rattled with controversy and

In 2016 the two candidates, Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump, saw themselves being able to bridge the divide between red and blue. Clinton ran as a Democrat, but her past shows that she used to be a strong republican. As for Trump, he ran as a Republican, but he preaches about not choosing a side, rather just choosing what is best for America. In comparison to the 2008 election, the divide between parties hardly moved.
Clinton vs. Palin Many women hardly ever get the opportunity to make a huge impact in society today. Those of them that do make it become well known public figures that establish themselves in medicine or politics. Among the few highly established women and well-known politicians are Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin. As each woman portrays themselves as strong and independent spokeswomen, they differ in experience, hobbies, and political preference.
Throughout United States history there have been several influential Presidents. Many modern day Presidents such as Bill Clinton, Ronald Reagen and Barack Obama, have made remarkable impacts on society. They have worked and created programs to positively affect our nation. Some of these actions include the Family and Medical Leave Act, Violence Against Women Act, minimum wage increase, Tax Reform Act of 1986, Environmental Protection Agency, deregulation, SDI, Affordable Care Act, and the Dont Ask, Don't Tell Repeal Act of 2010. These are just a few of numerous actions/programs these men enacted.
Donald Trump is not a fit candidate for presidential office because of his strict immigration policy, male chauvinistic views, and risky decisions-making skills.
After watching the Democratic debate, it was obvious that the debate was nothing less than the Hilary Clinton’s show and the other candidates are just there to make her look smarter and more qualified to lead this country. Personally, I think this will be an easy nomination win for Clinton unless the remaining candidates develop better positions and begin to talk specifics about what they believe will help make this country a better stronger for
There are numerous people vying to be the Republican candidate for the 2016 Presidential election. Of all the current candidates, Donald Trump is one that will get America back on track because he believes in our education, he has strong opinions on immigration, and he believes the people of Americans should have their 2nd Amendment protected. One reason I would vote for Donald Trump is that he believes in our education system. When the Common Core was implemented Trump voiced his opinion. He said, “Our Common Core is a disaster.”
Hillary Clinton since the beginning has as always been the person to be involved in her community and help people prosper. She has always dedicated her time to helping children, helping women and helping the world. Her message to why she is running for president is to make the economy better by addressing income inequality and to aid the middle class. Having a clear message to why a candidate is running for president really benefits them. They make it clear for the audience to why they are running and if the people agree with their message they gain more supporters.
In her speech, “Women’s Rights are Human Rights,” First Lady Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton discusses the importance of fighting for women’s rights, as she argues they and human rights are one and the same. Clinton uses rhetoric, such as logic, empathy, and credibility, along with some propaganda to convince her audience of her point. The speech was given at the Fourth World Conference on Women on September 5, 1995 in order to convince people to stand up for women throughout the world and to respect their roles in society. Clinton supported women’s rights long before her speech. She had always been involved politically, first by being the president of the Young Republican’s club at her school (Harris).
