During the book, Farewell to Manzanar, There were no particular deaths from racism. There was a at least one person that died because Fred Tayama stole the sugar and meat. In that illegal moment, it caused a huge controversy when Fred stole those things. In the book, Night, there were about six-million Jews that were killed by the Nazis because Hitler wanted one race. Although they bear some minor similarities, the differences between Farewell to Manzanar and Night are clear.
The differences were that in the books are how different the racism was towards the two races. Other differences are the schooling for the young and how the living conditions were. The differences of how to work and make money. The differences of the racism problem was answered or soluted. The summary of similarities is how the racism and conditions were. The book Nights conditions were a lot more worse than the other book, Farewell to Manzanar. Its the separation which shows how someone can compare how the two books are not alike or different.
