The differences and similarities between Hitman (2007) the movie and Hitman the video game series are striking, and they deserve rigorous examination. While there are some differences between the plot and style of assassinations, they also have some similarities of the well known Hitman suit and the bar code on the back of Agent 47’s head. First, the plot in the movie starts off with Agent 47 who does not have a name because he was raised as an orphan from birth by a shadowy organization named The Agency, who are known to perform assassinations for hire. Agent 47 is trained in all killing skills, which is why the young woman Nika is such a challenge for him. When Nika comes into his life, he is trained to guard against her, but he can not because she is helpless, needy, depends on him, and is a victim like himself. She was a prostitute held in slavery by a drug dealing brother of the Russian President that she follows, obeys, and offers herself to Agent 47 even though he remains distant to her. The focus of Hitman is not hiding in the shadows from the enemy, but rather blending in among them. It is up to the player if they choose to initiate violence, since guards do not usually open fire unless they are suspicious or alerted. Although walking around in a guard's uniform with the correct corresponding gun would not gather much notice. However running around in a waiter's uniform in a restricted area while carrying a visible weapon instead of an appetizer tray will result in an unwanted confrontation with the guards.
