It’s common to compare people, wither it be family, friends, or yourself to others. You see how they are similar or how they are unalike. Coming from a tremendous family, I’ve decided to compare my mother and Aunt Jackie. When growing up, they tried to survive by themselves, not really paying mind to anyone else, until their loved ones needed a helping hand. They’ve contributed to our family in numerous ways, and I hope to do the same.
Family comes first to them, it stated when Jackie and her husband Clarence were in trouble, my family was right there to help them through hard times; My mother helped them a couple of years ago. During 2003, my house bigger when a guest came to live with us. I would soon say I lived with two brothers my mother, and a stranger I didn’t know. This stranger would be my oldest brother’s friend, Shawn. He was kicked out of his house for reasons I don’t know, I was too young to know. My mother didn’t treat him differently from my brothers and I. After a few weeks he came home and told us he got a job and college wasn’t for him. He lived with us for a couple months. Eventually, he found himself an apartment and moved out. He still comes back and stay with us from time to time for a day or so. He’s always welcome in this house. July of 2002, my family and I lived with Jackie for two weeks. Jackie was living with her two kids and husband at the time, but that didn’t stop her from taking in a family of four. We have asked friends and family if we could stay with them, but she is the only one who said yes. My family was in the process of moving from Davie to Hollywood after my mom and dad divorced. She cooked for us and washed out clothes. She always made sure we were entertained and comfortable. Her kindness has been a major influence in my morals and
