Barriers is a set of objects that separates or marks off or serves as a barricade. Many people face many different barriers all the time. Examples of barriers are fear of heights, fear of people, personal issues, death, insecurity, lack of confidence, self-esteem, mental illnesses, inexperience, and disability. My barriers started two years ago. Two years ago i started having trust issues towards my friends because they kept lying to me. I decided to act like i just trusted them and told them fake secrets and fake feelings. Till recently I could barely trust my friends. I finally gained the courage to tell them that and I had the courage to find new friends that i could trust.It took me a few months maybe years to find new friends that I could trust. Once i finally found friends i thought i could trust i told them fake secrets and fake feelings. They never told anyone, so i started telling them more fake secrets and fake feelings. He was the first African American to play in the major league. Even though Jackie Robinson was an amazing baseball player he excelled at sports, he also excelled at facing barriers. Jackie faced one very important barriers during his baseball period. He had to face the racist people, Jackie faced the color barriers. Like Jackie, I had a barrier to face. While Jackie put faith in himself to ignore the racist threats, I had to have faith, or trust in my self and my friends. I had faith in my friends not to tell the secrets i told them and I had faith in me to pick the right friends. Jackie had values that helped him face his barrier and his values helped me face my barrier.Jackie's values that helped him were, citizenship, commitment, courage, determination, excellence, justice, teamwork, persistence, and integrity. I only used some of his values and they helped me a lot. I hope one day i can help people like Jackie Robinson helped
