Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela can without doubt be named some of the most important figures in Black Civil rights history. The two of them never met, but they were both fighting for the same cause - a society where black and white people were equal.

* How might history have been different if King had not been assassinated?
It’s hard to imagine how different history would’ve been if Martin Luther king would not have been assassinated, since there could’ve been many different outcomes. But personally, I believe that he would’ve lived on to continue his fight for racial harmony. He probably would’ve
