The Maya, Aztec, and the Inca are all ancient tribes that settled in Mexico. The Maya had a lot of towns that were scattered in mesoamerica. Their main town/city was called Chichen Itza, it was in Panama. The Aztec also settled in mesoamerica, Their main town/city was in Nicaragua. Unlike the Maya, the Aztec did not have a lot of cities/towns. The Inca also settled in mesoamerica, like the Maya and the Aztec. The Inca’s main town/city was in Venezuela. That is to the south of where the Maya and Aztec settled. These three ancient tribes, are very unique, in their own way.

The religion of these three tribes is different and similar. The Maya had a lot of gods, that was called polytheism. The Maya did many human and animal sacrifices in or for ceremonies. The Maya would throw people down wells for sacrifice. If you survive, you would be considered sacred. The killing was for the blood. Priests would cut themselves for ceremonies. The Astec also had a lot of gods. The Aztecs most important god was the sun god. In 1 ceremony they killed over 20,000 people. The Inca also had a lot of gods.
