Ethics questions 1) What is the OTA's role regarding quality and documentation? The Jacobs textbook States that “Data must be collected and documented in an organized manner so that they can be retrieved and reviewed, and further action can be determined.” (Jacobs, 2016). This simply means that data must be collected and presented in such a way that it is easily understood, have a level of thoroughness and completeness for comprehensive review, and be useful enough to project further actions that may be needed to enhance future interventions. In addition to being organized, it must be of a quality that lends insight to further treatment decisions.
