From The Muppets Wizard of Oz to Muppet Treasure Island, it doesn't matter how many times I watch the Muppet movies, I never get bored. Although I love them all, my favorite is The Muppet Christmas Carol. The Muppet Christmas Carol is a Muppet adaptation of the novel A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. The premise of the story is that the grouchy main character, Ebenezer Scrooge, goes through a change of heart at Christmas time. In the musical, with it being an adaptation, it of course has some minor changes to the story. One change is the fact that ninety-nine percent of the cast are Muppets. Another is that there are two Marley characters, Scrooge's former business partner/s, instead of one. While they are my two favorites, I enjoy them for very different reasons. I enjoy the character Scrooge because I can relate to him and I admire Michael Caine’s professionalism amongst his Muppet counterparts. I relate to Scrooge because I have a big habit of being cynical and pessimistic but have recently been trying my best to change my outlook on life.
