Tyler Joseph and John Dun make up the band Twenty One Pilots. Tyler Joseph and John Dun wrote Car Radio. Car Radio is a song about thinking. Twenty One Pilots want to stop people from committing suicide. Twenty One Pilots wants people to realize that in life that there is always going to be hard choices but we have to keep going. The car radio Twenty One Pilots is referring to is a metaphor for filling a void instead of thinking. When people think they often over think and that affects their decisions in life, for example, wanting to commit suicide.
