Compare And Contrast Universal And Disney World

To compare and contrast two memorable moments in my life is a difficult challenge for me. I have decided to choose my trips to Disney World and Universal. While both of these magnificent, magical places are located 8.5 miles from each other they are fairly similar and enormously different. Disneyworld is located in Florida, more precisely Kissimmee, but since it’s a suburb of Orlando, most people just say it’s in Orlando. I’ve had a total of five trips in my lifetime. Meanwhile, I have only had two amazing trips to Universal. I don’t remember much about my trips to Disney, except tiny little pieces, excluding my last two trips. This happened because I was so young. I do remember bits and pieces of my first trip to Universal. I think this is because I was only six years old. Most of what I remember of my first trip to Universal Studios is standing in line on the opening day of “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” at Islands of Adventure. My second time I can remember very vividly because it was this past year for the terrifying Halloween Horror Nights. Although both are well-known amusement parks, they have many incredible differences. This happens to be because Universal is mainly based on movies and cartoons generally intended for older viewers. Universal hosts one of the scariest Halloween Horror Haunted Houses in the United States. (I got to experience it first-hand.) Universal does this for a selected month. Disney hosts their own, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party. This is where all the little kids dress up. While Universal’s are only at night, Disney hosts theirs from September 15 to November 1, staying open later to give people a longer park day for more extravagant Disney
