Comparing Buddhism, Islam, And Christianity

In the world there are many different religions, some we may have never even heard of. There are 5 main religions that are spread throughout the world that are familiar to most people which are Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. For Hinduism, Buddhism, and Christianity are they really different in terms of having different beliefs or are their some similarities?

Buddhism is the world’s fourth largest religion and was started by Siddhartha Gautama or “The Buddha.” Buddhists do not believe that Buddha is a god but merely about his teachings and if they believe or not. The beliefs in this religion is belief that there is an afterlife and not everything ends with death. There are also the four noble truths that Buddhists follow which are: unsatisfactoriness and suffering exist and are universally experienced, desire and attachment are the causes of unsatisfactoriness and suffering, there is an end to unsatisfactoriness and suffering, and the last one is the end can be attained by journeying on the noble eightfold path.

It was adopted and imposed by Emperor Constantine. The beliefs in this religion start with the main belief which is: God created the world and that Jesus is our savior and the son of God. The teachings of Jesus lie in the holy bible which Christians read as a prayer. There is belief that everyone is born in sin and in need of salvation.
