We have some characteristics such as: he pretends to be superior than he really is - the time he daydreams about saving a dog in the burning building, and when he makes a fool of the bear guy, “you know who looks good in a beard”? “Dumbledore”, and when he comes out from a movie poster as some sort of super hero to impress his crush. Those sign above more or less demonstrate another point, which is his inability to view the world from perspective of others, for he’s already spent too much time on his unreal illusions. Thre is one typical TB series character who matches the type, and it is Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory. But nowadays, even though narcissistic people are like that, they still have one pro among that many cons: they have the ability to maintain strong bonds in some certain relationships. So far, some would argue that Walter is of the Asperger type, more specific, autistics, but he’s far from that. He admittedly has a tendency to daydream a lot, but they’re no imaginations of the autistics. Those imaginations would cost more IQ to take place and once it does, the people suffering from it have the ability to create complex models of behaviors to better understanding of the motivations of others. Case in point, the imagination brings Will Graham (the FBI agent in Hannibal) the fear of being in others’ mind, to see what they see, hear what they hear, think what they think and of course, feel what they feel.
