Comparing and Contrasting Islam and Christianity

For a long time now, religion is central in people’s lives, it is many peoples concept of peace, comfort and motive to live.
Throughout history we are witness of a structure which puts the deity on top and people as it’s followers below, starting from ancient Greece where people worshiped many gods, to the Common Era when religion came to life.
Today Islam and Christianity are world’s most populous religions. Having very similar base and passages on their holy books to the huge differences that are between them on the areas of the holy trinity and culture.

Firstly the messages that both these religions send to their believers are peaceful and both encourage people to be tolerant and believe that there is only one God and he is the creator and sustainer of the universe. …show more content…

The belief that there is only one God, the almighty who sent his prophets and the idea that the day of judgment will occur and we will be judged is the same.
Not only the things that we hear from people we go to mosque or church, but their holy books, The Holy Qur’an and The Holy Bible suggest the same things, as for example: “Jesus and other prophets of the Bible prayed with their head to the ground” (see Matthew26:39).
