Comparing Martin Luther King Jr. And Rosa Parks

Would you do anything for your people and your country's sake? I would do anything for my country and many others may resemble me and do the same. In specific situations, I believe a political leader justifiably can break the law while protecting their country or people. However, to some folk they believe it's not justifiably right when leaders break the law even for the people. I can list several examples of leaders in history doing things for the people. Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks are some major examples. Another example is Brutus in the book Julius Caesar(written by William Shakespeare). Brutus was a very noble man I think. One example was Martin Luther King Jr. a major leader of the Civil Rights movement. (2) King was a part of several nonviolent protests in various cities, which he often violated segregation laws. He earned many freedoms for African Americans in the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (3). He earned equal rights for his people and he broke laws to achieve that. He was a true leader. The next example is Rosa Parks. (4) Rosa, a African American woman, refused to surrender her seat to a white man on a bus. She was arrested shortly after that. She broke some laws, but she made a huge difference from it. Rosa being arrested was a spark of the Civil Rights movement. She affected today's society, because African Americans obtain rights from the results of her actions. The Civil Rights movement helped African Americans, but now let's talk about women's suffrage. Susan B. Anthony and her fight to get women's suffrage is a another terrific example. (5) Susan B. Anthony was balloting and was arrested because women at that time couldn't vote. She sparked women protests when she was arrested while trying to vote. Susan was a leader of the fight for women's equal rights. Even though, she might have broken the laws, but the results of her consequences were tremendous. She made woman get the right to vote and significantly more things down the line.
