Three Messages From Ozy In english class we had read three stories by Percy Bysshe Shelley and they were called “Ozymandias,”“Ode to the West of the Wind,” and “To a Skylark”. They were all really good stories I enjoyed getting deep into them and finding out the messages. In fact they were some really good messages that pointed out to these stories because they went in with the stories. There was only one I could pick out that I very much liked and that had a good message. To be begin, the story I had picked was “Ozymandias” the reason I chose this was because the moral to the story at the end was so inspiring. The story was about an actual egyptian pharaoh Ramses ll and the famous leader. He had made his own weird but talented creations around other places or around him. Ozymandias was known for his work as in statues, sculptures and he even made a city but no one was allowed to live in it. Although his creations were meant to intimidate and scare others and that is exactly what they did. He was someone not to mess with because he was the top man around, he was very powerful. The first message was that even after all your hard work it won’t be up forever. You could get awarded for so many things and be the best but later down the road it won’t mean anything because new people come and can do better or put it up as a new update. The moral of this is that you can work hard, work hard and work hard but you won’t be famous forever. It is really sad that is how society works nowadays but all that matters is those that knew still look up to you. Also, you won’t be remembered
