The film of Romeo + Juliet by Baz Luhrman’s 1996 is close to the that William Shakespeare Romeo and Juliet. The plot of the whole movie is different through drama. Instead of the Capulets and Montagues houses were far away in the drama they were buildings next to each other. The actors of the play were good at doing their part of the play. The scene of the play was good because it match the more modern part of the director's life. The film were the buildings were kinda odd because in the drama that Shakespeare the houses of Capulets and the Montagues seemed very far away. The reason why is because in the drama Romeo and his cousins went to Lord Capulet party. They had to ride on horses or walk to get to the party. In the modern film the buildings were right by each other and they showed up to the party on a car. The acting of each line was good and how much effort they put into the line. The scene of each part was great because it matched with the part where the actors lines and actions were going for the play. Each of the characters of the play did all good because they really sold the part of each line. In the play they did take out some part that was in the original play. Other than that the characters of this play were great. The setting of each scene was good because it matched with all the modern parts today. In the part where Romeo and Paris fight in the book they don’t show that in movie it just goes straight thru where he gives Juliet that last kiss and drinks the poison.
