How much do the world and all the people in it cost? 680,000,000 dollars isn't that much compared to all the life on earth. The environment is a mess and at the time is very unhealthy, the NIEHS is an environmental justice group that helps better the environment and now needs funding from the federal government to help their studies and experiments protect the environment. I believe that they should give the 680,000,000 dollars to the NIEHS to help improve the environment and our world. They should be funded because they help better the environment, and they help protect us from harmful objects by doing studies that influence others to make laws and regulations that protect our environment. Also, they use new techniques and experiments that can help prevent illnesses due to the unhealthy environment.

The NIEHS helps protect the most important thing of all, us. They protect us from dangers by using experiments to suggest regulations to others that can enforce them. As stated in,“Why and How Do We Study Environmental Health?”, “The information developed by NIEHS laboratories and NIEHS-supported research laboratories around the country is then used by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to develop laws that will help promote healthy environments.” This proves that the NIEHS pretty much helps make laws that benefit us in ways that protect us from unhealthy items such as dangerous chemicals, or filthy water. Thanks to these laws, we have stayed safe mostly, but with this fund that the federal government could give the NIEHS would make it possible to conduct more studies and experiments that can provide laws and regulations to keep us
