Midsummer or Litha is a very magical time of the year. The great sun god is now at his highest trajectory and we now find the sunlight and daylight has reached its maximum output, which is over sixteen hours which we are engulfed and bathed in.
Litha is celebrated between the 19th and the 25th of June each year. The goddess is now swollen and heavily pregnant with child, abundance is free flowing and is everywhere and all around us, to be seen and sensed, bringing all our senses to life at this highly pleasurable and magical time. The sun god is peaking and is at his height of virility, spreading his warmth, glowing rays and feeding all there is with his much appreciated rays and light.

We have reached the very pinnacle of the year, as in the longest day and it’s now a perfect time to reflect upon the journey so far to reach this point and also to look forward with trepidation upon how we see and would like the remaining half of the year to bring and grant us. A great time to feel the inner strength that have been created and use these to help us manifest our pure intentions, both for ourselves and others. Like the sun god hanging and resonating his strength and might onto the lands, we are at our strongest now, physically, mentally and spiritually, like a fully charged battery. Use the power wisely and put into place positives for what is to come. I believe totally, that is we fail to realise, appreciate this and embrace it, and then we are basically missing the point of the journey so far and almost wasting this very bountiful and abundant
