In the film, Monty Python it comedically mocks many themes in Morte d’ Arthur. It was used for humor and a good laugh from watching it, for the British. In Morte d’ Arthur it was a mixture of stories all about King Arthur leading up to his death. The film was made to mock all of the stories about King Arthur. One of the main themes mocked his chivalric code and knightly behavior. In that time period the knights in both the films and the stories were tested for bravery, loyalty, and honesty. In Morte d'Arthur King Arthur had to battle the Green Knight, but one of the other kings, Gawain, rose up and said he will battle and take the journey to fight the Green Knight. In the film King Arthur fought the Black Knight and the Green Knight. In the film bravery was mocked because the Black Knight was losing and all of his limbs were getting ripped off, but where bravery is being mocked is how he never gave up and he kept fighting even though he had no limbs. …show more content…

In the film King Arthur and his knights go on a journey and they finally get to the bridge but they have to answer three questions in order to go pass the bridge. What is being mocked is that all of the Knights are asked very easy questions that are about them, but they all hilariously get the questions wrong. Each one that gets the question wrong they get thrown off the bridge down the cliff. The three questions were what their name was, the quest, and their favorite color. All of the questions were outrageously easily and the fact that they got them wrong was
