Every nation has the possibility to do tasks that are best suited based off their environments. This is no different in the transportation industry as well. North American and Europe have many similarities based on the modes of transportation of materials. With this there are also many differences between the two due to situational requirements. The two nations also have trade all over the world as well as policy implications in place best suited for each individuals best needs. Finally, as research expands in the industry there will be massive leaps in getting goods into the consumers hands. The first aspect is the similarities and differences between the two nations transportation systems. The location and environment of each country will play a role in how it moves goods from one location to another. Europe has been a leader in sea transport due to the easy access to ports and countries that have their own access (Ecostat, 2012). This will allow them to not only transport individuals with ease but also goods from one side of the country to the other. Due to the fact that each ship can carry roughly 3,500 containers this will allow them to move large amounts of goods at one time (Gordon, 2013). This would take a lot of trucks and trains to …show more content…
This can also be in the transportation industry as well. I think that the use of drones to deliver packages is going to become a normal for the citizens of the world. I find this interesting due to the fact it will limit the amount of traffic on the roads and rail industry. Also, this could allow packages to be delivered quicker to the end user. Air space can be divided up into several layers to minimize the congestion that would occur. If they were to just use around the 400 foot level this will keep them out of the way of commercial and recreational aircraft. I think this is going to be the future of the transpiration and delivery
