Comparing Two Large Cities: Atlanta Vs. Jackson

In the United States, there are many large cities with plenty of things to do. On the other hand, there are also smaller cities that do not have as much to offer. Two cities that may come to mind when discussing the differences between larger and smaller cities are Atlanta, GA and Jackson, MS. One could say that Atlanta is the better city due to the various recreational activities and other attractions they possess. On the contrary, Jackson also has some fun activities to do. Although Atlanta and Jackson share a few things in common, the two cities also have many differences.
First, there are many more things to do in Atlanta than there are in Jackson. Even though Jackson and Atlanta both have college sports teams, Atlanta is also home to both a professional football and a professional basketball team. In addition, Atlanta has over ten malls in the metropolitan area alone. Jackson, on the other hand, has only one major mall. Other activities that Atlanta and Jackson differ in are kid-oriented activities, which include the zoo and aquarium. Though Jackson does have a zoo, Atlanta’s zoo is much larger, and it has a better variety of animals to display. Uniquely, Atlanta is a beautiful light-filled city with a great amount of tourist attractions. Not to mention, a lot of people migrate from Jackson to Atlanta because of its delightful physical appearance. As one may know, Jackson does not have many towering buildings or attractive features that would influence people to move here. Also, the physical appearance of Jackson does not lure people because of the condition of the city. In downtown Jackson, there are a number of abandoned, old buildings and streets that are filled with detrimental potholes. Atlanta is the given for being the better city simply because of the way the city is beautifully
