Do Personal experiences define who we are? Yes. I will explain how having two siblings with disabilities has defined who I am. I will do that by first explaining how it helped me look at family in a different way. I will talk about the difference between my family and a “normal” family. How having two siblings with disabilities has helped me grow closer to my family. How it helps me be more sympathetic. It makes me look at life in a different way. I will consider why God has put me in this situation. Also, how I can help others in similar situations.

Sometimes I might wonder why God has put me in this situation. It can sometimes be difficult, but I always know that God put me there for a purpose. God did not just put me there to be a brother, but God put me there as a helper. I know that God wants me to use this situation and make the best of it that I can, so I am going to take this and do the best I can to make it praise God in all I can. God has put things in our life’s that may seem difficult, but He never puts things in our life that we cannot find an answer for. Since I am in this situation I can help other people who are in this situation. I can tell them that we still have to love them and be sympathetic. We should not think that since they are “different” we should not love them. We are all people who were born in the image of God. I can talk to the people who are in the same situation as me and encourage them about all of the good things that come with this circumstance. While I can tell them about what I’ve learnt, they can tell me about what they have learnt, so we can learn from each other and not make mistakes that the other person has
