Entertainment, collisions, and athleticism are all things that mesh together in an extraordinary way. Logically, all of these things are centerpieces for entertainment, so it’s no surprise that when it comes to sports, football is Americas favorite. Brutal but classic, the game which embodies gladiators going to war has been a staple in the lives of Americans for years, whether playing or watching, football is loved. Naturally, a sport with such following, and love has various levels of competition, the most widely followed being College and NFL. During my countless years of being a fan, playing the game, and dedicating myself to hours upon hours of consuming this glorious sport, I’ve come to the conclusion that college football is more enjoyable than NFL football because of the level of loyalty that is invested, the style of play, and the intensity of the fans. Unlike the NFL, in college football fans are rooting for a school. Fans of a team may have attended that school, be attending the school, or have just had a long history with the school. The bottom line is that college football unites more than just fans from the same city or state, it unites fans who have a common pride and heritage in what they’re rooting for. On top of that, College fans stick with their teams, when they’re losing or winning, even when torrential downfalls of rain soak the fans attending the games, they stick with their team to the very end.
