The poems “The Chimney Sweeper” written in the years 1789 and 1794 by the author William Blake, contain many figurative language. Even though the poes have a few differences between them, there are more similarities between them. Some of the similarities between these two poems are the rhythm that they each have, and the have the same tone and mood. However, they do contain one difference which is the type of repetition they have. Although there are more similarities than differences between the poems, in reality, there is one difference, the repetition of words in each poem.
